Glow Facial

The Glow Facial is a combination of Dermaplaning and the Hydra Facial MSA. Dermaplaning prior to using the Hydra Facial machine allows for more drastic results since the dead skin is being removed from the surface first. This allows for the hydra facial to cleanse the skin and extract pores more deeply. You will obtain instant results that both the dermaplaning and hydra facial MSA give. See below for descriptions of each facial separately to learn more about their benefits.

  • PRE TREATMENT

Avoid retinol, acids (AHA/BHA), and exfoliants for 3–5 days before treatment.

No waxing, laser, or chemical peels on the treatment area for at least 1 week prior.

Do not tan or have prolonged sun exposure for 3 days before your appointment.

Come to your appointment with a clean, makeup-free face.

Let us know if you’re pregnant, on Accutane, or have cold sores or active breakouts.

    POST TREATMENT

After your HydraFacial, your skin will be fresh, clean, and a bit more sensitive. Here's how to care for it:

Avoid makeup for at least 6–12 hours post-treatment.

Skip retinol, acids, exfoliants, or active skincare for 48 hours.

Use a gentle cleanser and a hydrating, fragrance-free moisturizer.

Avoid direct sun exposure and always wear SPF 30+ daily (even indoors if near windows).

No waxing, laser, or aggressive treatments on the area for at least 7 days.

Avoid hot showers, saunas, and intense exercise for the rest of the day.

  • Why combine HydraFacial and Dermaplaning?

Pairing dermaplaning with HydraFacial enhances your results. Dermaplaning removes dead skin and peach fuzz, allowing the HydraFacial serums to penetrate deeper, leaving your skin ultra-smooth, glowing, and hydrated.

Is this combo safe for all skin types?

Yes! This treatment is safe and effective for most skin types, including sensitive skin. However, it may not be suitable if you have active acne, open wounds, or certain skin conditions. A skin consultation is always done before treatment.

What should I expect after the treatment?

You’ll notice immediate smoothness, brightness, and hydration. Slight redness may occur, but it usually fades within a few hours. Most clients leave with a visible glow and no downtime.

How often can I get this treatment?

We recommend repeating this facial every 4–6 weeks for best results. Regular treatments help maintain clear pores, smooth texture, and radiant skin.

Is there any downtime after a HydraFacial?

Nope! There is no downtime. Your skin may be slightly pink for a few hours, but you can return to normal activities immediately, just avoid makeup, heat, and active skincare for the rest of the day.

Can I get a HydraFacial if I have sensitive skin or acne?

Yes! HydraFacials are gentle, customizable, and safe for all skin types, even sensitive, acne-prone, or rosacea-prone skin. We adjust the products and suction level to suit your skin’s needs.

Can I wear makeup after my HydraFacial?

It’s best to wait at least 6–12 hours before applying makeup to let your skin breathe and absorb all the benefits of the treatment. Most clients love the post-facial glow and go makeup-free!

What should I avoid after a HydraFacial?

For 48 hours, avoid exfoliants, retinol, and active ingredients. Stay out of the sun, skip intense workouts or heat (like saunas), and always apply SPF to protect your fresh skin.

Skip saunas, steam rooms, and sweaty workouts for 24 hours post-treatment.

If any redness or sensitivity occurs, soothe skin with aloe vera or calming serums.

Dermaplaning

Dermaplaning is a form of manual exfoliation similar in theory to microdermabrasion but without the use of suction or abrasive crystals. An esthetician grade, sterile blade is stroked along the skin at an angle to gently “shave off” dead skin cells from the epidermis. Dermaplaning also temporarily removes the fine vellus hair of the face, leaving a very smooth surface. This treatment is not painful, it’s a relaxing facial for anyone looking for a physical exfoliation. Dermaplaning facial includes: double cleanse, dermaplaning, extractions, high frequency, LED therapy, hydration.

Microneedling

Microneedling, Also known as collagen induction therapy is a procedure that creates micro injuries in the skin to stimulate collagen and skin cell reproduction. This treatment is perfect for those with scars, wrinkles, large pores, stretch marks, and hyperpigmentation. This treatment includes: numbing, double cleanse, microneedling, soothing mask, hydration.

We offer the DP4 microneedling device:

  • Fastest microneedling device on the market

  • World leading vertical needle technology

  • 16 x 33 G needles for up to 1,920 puncture channels/sec

  • Ultimate Infusion of microneedling specific formulations

  • PRE TREATMENT

Avoid Retinol, exfoliants, and acids (like AHA, BHA, glycolic) for 3–5 days before your treatment.

No waxing, laser, or chemical peels on the face for at least 1 week before.

Skip tanning and direct sun exposure for 3–5 days prior.

Come to your appointment with a clean, makeup-free face.

No active acne, cold sores, or open wounds.

    POST TREATMENT

Be gentle with your skin after treatment:

Avoid touching your face unnecessarily for the first 24 hours.

No makeup for at least 24 hours.

Skip Retinol, exfoliants, acids, and active ingredients for 3–5 days post-treatment.

Use a gentle cleanser and fragrance-free moisturizer.

Stay out of direct sunlight and always wear SPF 30+ (especially for the next 3–5 days).

Do not use steam rooms, saunas, or do heavy workouts for 24 hours.

  • Will dermaplaning make my hair grow back thicker or darker?

No, this is a common myth. Dermaplaning only removes fine vellus hair (peach fuzz), and it will grow back at the same rate, color, and texture as before.

Is dermaplaning safe for all skin types?

Yes! Dermaplaning is generally safe for most skin types, especially those with dull, dry, or sensitive skin. However, it’s not recommended if you have active acne, open wounds, or certain skin conditions (like rosacea or eczema).

How often should I get dermaplaning?

You can enjoy dermaplaning every 4–6 weeks, depending on your skin’s needs. It pairs well with other treatments like facials and chemical peels for enhanced results.

Is there any downtime after dermaplaning?

There’s no real downtime, but you may experience slight redness or sensitivity for a few hours. Avoid makeup, sun exposure, and harsh products for 24 hours post-treatment, and always wear SPF.

  • Pre Treatment

Avoid Retinol, exfoliants, and acids (like Glycolic) for 5 days before your treatment.

No tanning or sun exposure for at least 2 weeks before.

No alcohol or anti-inflammatory meds (like ibuprofen or Advil) for 48 hours before.

Come to your appointment with a clean face – no makeup, lotion, or SPF.

    Post Treatment

    First 4 hours:
Do not wash your face or apply any products.

    For the next 48 hours:
Do not touch your face unless your hands are clean.

No makeup – it can cause infection.

Use a gentle cleanser at night, and rinse with fresh water in the morning.

Sleep on a clean pillowcase (or disposable paper towel) and use a clean towel to dry your face.

Avoid sweating or heavy workouts – open pores can lead to irritation.

    For the next 2 weeks:
Avoid sun exposure and do not tan. Always apply SPF 50+ if you go outside.

Skip Retinol, exfoliants, and acids (like Glycolic) for 14 days.

Stay away from products with alcohol, fragrance, or harsh chemicals.

    What to expect:
Redness & sensitivity may last up to 72 hours.

Peeling may start around Day 3–5 – this is normal.

Keep skin hydrated with soothing products like serum, aloe, or moisturizer.

Do not scratch or pick at peeling skin.

    Important:
Avoid anti-inflammatory meds (like ibuprofen, Advil, Motrin) right after treatment – they can interfere with your skin's natural healing.

  • What is microneedling and how does it work?

Microneedling is a skin treatment that uses tiny, sterile needles to create micro-injuries in the skin. This triggers your body’s natural healing response, stimulating collagen and elastin production. The result? Smoother, firmer, more radiant skin over time.

What skin concerns can microneedling treat?

Microneedling can help improve: Fine lines & wrinkles, Acne scars, Enlarged pores, Uneven skin tone & texture, Stretch marks, Mild sagging or loose skin

    Is microneedling painful?

Most clients describe the sensation as mild to moderate discomfort. A numbing cream is applied beforehand to minimize any pain. After the treatment, your skin may feel warm or tight, similar to a sunburn.

How long is the downtime after microneedling?

Expect some redness and sensitivity for 24–72 hours. Light peeling may occur around days 3–5. Most people resume regular activities the next day with proper aftercare.

How many sessions will I need to see results?

Visible improvements can be seen after just one session, but a series of 3–5 treatments spaced 4–6 weeks apart is recommended for best results, especially for deeper concerns like scarring or wrinkles.
